Here are some comments from people who have taken the intermediate course.
I was able to learn deeply about the healing power of Singing Ring. By concentrating on learning how to perform the treatment during the two-day practical training, I feel I have made a big step forward in my own way. If I hadn't taken this course, I don't think I would have noticed my own habits when playing the bell. I was timid when I performed on my family during the assignment, but after learning from these two days of practical training, I feel that I can perform the treatment on my family with a little more confidence, even if my skills are still poor. Thank you very much. I believe that singing bells can heal others even if you are not very skilled, but the more you hone your treatment skills and your mind, the greater the healing power will be. I hope to be able to perform the treatment with a calm mind. Taking the intermediate course has broadened my world! (MI)
I'm glad I took this course. As several people pointed out at the graduation ceremony, I thought the content of the videos was perfect. The quality was very high and the videos were easy to understand, so no matter how many times I reviewed them, they always taught me what I wanted to know. This course goes a little deeper than the beginner's course, and you can learn more about the effects of singing rings on the body and mind, as well as various healing methods and how to play them, so I think it's a very educational course for people who want to give more serious treatments to their family and friends. Beyond beginner-level self-care, the possibilities for healing others expand dramatically. First, learn about this potential through video materials, then recognize that "your hands don't always move the way you imagine" (← the first thing everyone thinks) in the practical part. This will motivate you to continue improving. First of all, learning once won't make things go smoothly, so I think it's important to keep practicing. And just like us, the instructors and assistants also struggled at first, going through trial and error, and I realized that they had followed the same path to achieve their current skills, which I'm now able to set as a goal. My skills are still immature, but I hope to continue to work hard so that I can one day become a "role model" for those who follow me! (MM)
After taking the intermediate course, I realized that the basic course alone was not enough. The intermediate course was designed to enable me to treat people close to me, but more than that, I learned that there are various methods that can draw out the wonderful power of the Singing Ring, and that both the therapist and I can achieve great results with self-healing. What I felt about the video training was that it was completely different from the usual monotony of "watching and falling asleep," and I was able to watch it with interest until the very end. It was beautifully produced, and I was really grateful that the repetitive learning didn't feel like a chore. Also, although I started learning because I was inspired by something intuitive, watching the videos made me feel that I could do what I really wanted to do with the Singing Ring. I think the two days of practical training will be very valuable. Both your mind and your body will be busy in the limited time, so I recommend doing as much preparation as you can beforehand to prepare yourself and come prepared. (AI)
Head healing is not only relaxing, but also has the effect of blood flow, so I would like to actively use it to prevent brain diseases not only for myself but also for my family and pets. I also learned the importance of centering and grounding, so I would like to learn more about it in the practical training and use it to improve my physical health and mental stability. I was able to learn more about the immeasurable charm of the Singing Ring than I did in the basic course. As I am in my 50s, I was particularly nervous about the practical training, but the instructor and the staff taught me very kindly, in a fun and thorough manner, so I am really glad I took the course. The lessons were taught very carefully, both in the Zoom class and in the practical class. The detailed instruction on how to use the body during the practical class was particularly helpful. The video content was easy to understand, and I was able to review it over and over again, which was great. The textbook content was also well-organized and I was able to memorize it by filling in the blanks, so I felt it was well-structured. I think this course allows you to learn more about singing rings while also building your basic skills, so you can learn things that can be applied not only to singing rings but also to various therapies and sessions. It's easy to understand. The text is in colour and easy to read, and it's linked to the videos, so it was easy to study beforehand. The videos are divided into units and are short, so watching them wasn't a chore. I also think it's great that you can study repeatedly. The content goes from beginner to advanced, but I think it's a very fulfilling curriculum. The practical training, surrounded by so many phosphorus plants, purified the people and the place, and it was an indescribable feeling of comfort. Learning about the potential of phosphorus is sure to make me even more excited! (SU)
Singing Ring is a very deep subject, and what you learn in the basic course is like the basics of Singing Ring. The more you learn, the more new discoveries you will make and the more you will be able to use it. In the intermediate course, you will practice with instructors and peers, which will allow you to understand more than if you were to do it alone, and you will also gain new insights. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to enrich their daily lives with Singing Ring. (YK)
1. I learned a lot!!
During the Zoom course, I learned how to hold the drumsticks and how to play the notes, and I thought I had mastered it...
However, during the actual training, I was given instruction on the finer details, which helped me become aware of my own habits and areas where I was putting too much force into my work, and I was able to acquire skills in a positive way.
I learned the importance of "volume" in particular. The most difficult thing was "small sounds." Small sounds are really difficult. It's really hard to produce a pleasant sound by just touching the drum. But just by being taught how to hold the drumstick and the tricks, I was able to miraculously produce "just the right sound" without exerting any force.
Another thing is the importance of body position.
When giving treatment, I learned that the position of the body is important in order to make movements smooth and stress-free, connecting the dots between myself, the client, and the overall flow of therapy.
Another key point was the "sound count."
For me, intermediate Lymphatic drainage felt like playing a waltz on a bell while holding it loosely over my body!
2. I was thoroughly healed.
Actually, I had never had Singing Ring drainage before...
I realized that the person providing the treatment can learn so much by receiving the treatment themselves!
In the intermediate training, you will be paired up and get to experience being the one giving the treatment and the one receiving it. This is the best!!!
It's really satisfying for the therapist to see the patients getting the skills and tricks of the treatment and becoming more comfortable with their own Lynn drainage. The patients can experience many Singing Lynn drainages (almost all of them fell into a deep sleep).
I always thought that the skill to perform the treatment was important, but experiencing being on the receiving end of the treatment was a huge learning experience.
3. It was fun!!
It's really fun to meet other people who want to learn the same things as you, like the drainage of the singing bell, and learn together! I can't make the rotating sound well... I can't hold the drumsticks properly...
We were able to share our anxieties and improve ourselves through friendly competition, and since the instructor and a professional therapist (certified) were also participating, we were able to receive guidance on even the smallest details and learn together, which was fun!
During the internship, we were able to share our goals and ideas with our peers, and it was a really fun experience. At the start and end of the internship, I was able to see the changes not only in myself but also in everyone else, and it was really fun.
In the Singing Ring Intermediate Course, you can experience a learning experience that is significantly more advanced than the beginner course.
You'll soon realize that just having a singing ring is a waste.
The intermediate course, which allows you to experience and practice the possibilities of sound therapy, may be a new step towards further enriching your life. (Shion Inc. Okayama staff)
