Singing Ring® Luli is an art piece that combines lapis lazuli, which has been highly valued as a protective amulet since ancient times, with pearl powder, a symbol of marine life, in lacquer, and is the world's first to be coated with a lapis lazuli-coloured lacquer.
From the very beginning of the creation of Singing Ring®, we have been involved in its production with the craftsmen who possess exceptional skills, and after a year and a half of trial and error, we have been able to create a truly unique piece.
Your one-and-only unique colour
Singing Ring Luli's colour, which cannot be created with a single colour, displays expressions of ultramarine, purple, and green, and changes its appearance when light is shone upon it.
This colour, created in collaboration with Japanese artisans, is a special shade that truly embodies the worldview that Singing Rings aims to convey.
By adjusting the humidity and temperature to induce a chemical reaction, we apply and harden our uniquely developed lapis lazuli-coloured lacquer paint in several layers.
By deliberately suppressing the shine, a deep, uniquely beautiful lapis lazuli colour emerges.
Each Singing Ring has a unique colour and pattern, varying depending on the season, temperature, and humidity during production. From green to navy blue, each one is truly one of a kind.
